Ho Ling Tang

Composer

Ho-Ling Tang is a composer, orchestrator, and arranger based in Los Angeles. Her passion for literature, visual art, and theatre inform all of her compositions. Her recent scores can be heard in the RTHK (Radio Television of Hong Kong) episodes and the thriller adapted from Stephen King’s novel, Willa. As an orchestrator she has contributed to numerous films including La Gran Adventura de Los Lunnis y el Libro Magico, Wu Ling Guai Shou (Kung Fu Monster) and The Accidental Prime Minister. She has also written music for production libraries including Extreme Music and FineTune Music. Ho Ling is currently working as a music assistant for the renowned film composer Harry Gregson-Williams. She holds a master’s degree from the Berklee College of Music in Scoring for Film, Television and Video Games. In 2018 she was selected as one of the ten finalists at the Berlin International Film Scoring Competition and to participate in Sundance Institute’s 2019 Music Composer and Sound Design Lab at Skywalker Sound. Her orchestral piece “Eternity” has been nominated for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.
